Taghal

Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Taghal (“Taghal,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you use our website at taghal.com, our marketing and performance-tracking platform, and any related applications or services (collectively, the “Services”), including features that connect to third-party advertising platforms such as Meta (Facebook and Instagram) through the Meta Marketing API. By using the Services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information you provide when you register or contact us — such as your name, email address, username, company, and account credentials.
  • Advertising and campaign data you create or manage in the Services — such as offers, landing pages, tracking links, traffic sources, conversion pixels, and Conversions API configurations.
  • Platform data from connected accounts. When you connect a Meta (Facebook/Instagram) advertising account, we access data through the Meta Marketing API that you authorize — such as your ad account ID, campaigns, ad sets, ads, pixel/dataset IDs, and aggregated performance and conversion metrics. We access this data only to provide the features you request.
  • Usage and device data generated as visitors interact with links, landing pages, and pages we host — such as IP address, approximate location (country/region), device and browser type, referrer, timestamps, click and conversion events, and time spent on a page.
  • Cookies and similar technologies used to operate the Services, keep you signed in, measure performance, and support conversion attribution (see Section 8).

We do not knowingly collect payment card numbers, government identifiers, or other sensitive personal information through the Services.

2. How We Use Information

  • Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Services;
  • Authenticate users and maintain account sessions;
  • Measure clicks, conversions, and campaign performance, and attribute conversions back to the originating ad;
  • Create, manage, and report on advertising campaigns on connected platforms at your direction;
  • Send conversion and event data to advertising platforms’ server-side APIs (e.g., the Meta Conversions API) when you configure a pixel/dataset bridge;
  • Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
  • Communicate with you about your account, support requests, and service updates;
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. Meta Platform Data

When you authorize a connection to Meta, we use the Meta Marketing API and related tools solely to deliver the features you request — for example, reading ad-account and campaign performance, and sending server-side conversion events through the Conversions API for attribution and optimization.

  • We use Meta Platform Data only in accordance with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies, and only for the purposes you authorize.
  • We do not sell Meta Platform Data, and we do not use it for any purpose other than providing and improving the Services you request.
  • Access tokens and credentials for connected accounts are stored encrypted and used only to make authorized API calls on your behalf.
  • You can revoke our access at any time through your Meta account settings or by disconnecting the integration or contacting us; upon revocation we stop accessing your Meta Platform Data.
  • Personal information (such as email) included in conversion events is hashed (e.g., SHA‑256) before being transmitted to Meta, consistent with Meta’s requirements.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as described below:

  • Service providers that host our infrastructure, database, and analytics, bound by contractual confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
  • Advertising platforms (such as Meta and TikTok) when you configure a pixel or server-side conversions bridge — limited to the event and attribution data required to report and optimize your campaigns.
  • Advertisers and partners within the network, limited to the conversion, click, and payout data necessary to reconcile and pay for performance.
  • Legal and safety disclosures where required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Taghal, our users, or the public.
  • Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Aggregated or de-identified data may be retained for longer. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data, or deletion of data we accessed via a connected Meta account, by emailing privacy@taghal.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and in accordance with applicable law.

6. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you;
  • Object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent;
  • Request a portable copy of your data;
  • Opt out of non-essential cookies and tracking;
  • Disconnect any connected advertising account at any time.

To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@taghal.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

7. Data Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information — including encryption of sensitive credentials in transit and at rest, access controls, and least-privilege data handling. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure traffic, and support conversion attribution across the funnel. Landing pages we host may load advertising pixels (e.g., Meta or TikTok) that you configure, which set their own cookies subject to those platforms’ privacy policies. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may limit functionality.

9. Third-Party Services & Links

The Services integrate with and may link to third-party platforms (such as Meta and TikTok). Their handling of your information is governed by their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties.

10. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for businesses and users 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. International Data Transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than where you reside. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards for such transfers in accordance with applicable law.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
